What you will do

• Develop scalable test strategies, automation frameworks, and performance tools for web, mobile, and data environments.
• Analyze system behavior and load models to identify opportunities for improving scalability and reliability.
• Guide performance engineering initiatives and collaborate across teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Mentor SDETs and engineers through code reviews, test design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Strengthen automated test reliability within CI/CD pipelines and establish engineering best practices.
• Champion a quality-first culture and advocate for performance-focused testing across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be a resident of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, or CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development or QA, including performance testing frameworks like JMeter.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with security automation frameworks.
• Experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD systems.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of containers and performance orchestration platforms like BlazeMeter or Octoperf.
• Experience with relational and non-relational database structures and SQL/NoSQL query construction.
• Demonstrated experience in unit, integration, and performance testing for web, API, and mobile applications.
