What you will do

• Lead and influence the overall quality engineering strategy across PlayStation console, mobile, portal, and service ecosystems.
• Design, build, and scale automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, telemetry, and end-to-end testing layers.
• Define enterprise-level automation standards and CI/CD quality gates to improve release confidence and engineering velocity.
• Drive R&D initiatives around AI-assisted testing to automate test generation, enhance failure analysis, and reduce manual effort.
• Mentor and guide SDETs and QEs on automation architecture, testing methodologies, and engineering standards.
• Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to drive shift-left testing practices and shared ownership of quality.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in SDET, automation engineering, or quality engineering roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale mobile quality engineering initiatives.
• Strong programming experience in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Expertise with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Pytest, Appium, or Selenium.
• Experience architecting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted testing tools for productivity improvements.
• Experience with cloud/device lab orchestration and telemetry validation.
