What you will do

• Architect end-to-end voice and unified communications solutions using Avaya, Microsoft Teams, and Genesys.
• Design and validate POTS replacement technologies and analog-to-IP migration strategies.
• Oversee SBC architecture, SIP trunking, and failover design to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with sales teams on RFP responses and technical demonstrations.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex voice engineering and interoperability challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering best practices and standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Florida, USA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or 5-8 years of professional IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in voice and unified communications technology.
• Deep expertise in Avaya, Microsoft Teams Voice, Genesys, and PBX/SBC technologies.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Change Management, and Disaster Recovery planning.
• Experience with carrier circuit management and provider portals like ATT Route It or Verizon Network Manager.
