What you will do
- Negotiate managed care payer contract rates and terms for home health, hospice, and senior living operations.
- Analyze contract margins and financial performance in collaboration with Legal and Finance teams.
- Develop and implement tactical plans to expand managed care relationships and optimize financial outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for operational leadership regarding healthcare industry changes and reimbursement strategies.
- Provide training and resources to field operations, AR teams, and intake personnel on contract administration.
- Coordinate contract amendments, terminations, and claims issue resolution.
Requirements
- Must be based in the USA
- 5+ years of experience in managed care contracting with a payer or provider organization.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Commercial, and Managed Medicaid products.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex financial data and communicating insights professionally.
- Understanding of CPT-4, HCPCS, Revenue, and ICD coding standards.
- Ability to travel as required for business needs.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or health care administration.
- Experience with Home Health, Hospice, or Assisted Living operations.
- Knowledge of Smartsheet.
