What you will do

• Monitor and operate all equipment associated with the Steam Turbine Generator, including pumps, motors, transformers, compressors, and valves.
• Test and monitor water and steam quality for Boiler Water chemistry.
• Prepare and execute Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) of area systems and restore them to operation after maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning filters, lubricating equipment, and changing oil.
• Conduct air tests to prepare confined space entry and hot work permits, acting as a Confined Space Monitor when necessary.
• Perform area safety inspections on fire extinguishers, hydrants, emergency lighting, and safety showers.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of plant operations experience, with at least 2 years specifically in power generation.
• Qualified in the operation of both Turbine and Boiler systems.
• In-depth knowledge of integrated boiler and turbine operations.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Guayama, Puerto Rico.
