What you will do

• Monitor all plant systems continuously and respond to operational alarms with immediate corrective actions.
• Execute plant shut-down and start-up procedures to ensure generating requirements are met safely.
• Lead and train other operators on operating principles, steam cycles, and system components.
• Maintain operational logs and identify faulty operations or abnormal system conditions.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergencies to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Conduct field operations during plant outages.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam required within the first year of employment.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 50lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Qualification to wear a full-face respirator.
