What you will do

• Diagnose and repair natural gas generators and associated power equipment.
• Verify and adjust breaker settings and manage electrical distribution components including cables, transformers, and relays.
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of engine and generator control systems.
• Execute electrical and mechanical wiring modifications to generator control circuits.
• Conduct tests on batteries, fuel, coolant, and oil while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Train and mentor other technicians on troubleshooting and repair procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in power generation.
• Experience with natural gas engines, preferably Caterpillar or Jenbacher.
• Ability to work travel rotation schedule.
• Physical capacity to lift 50 pounds.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
