What you will do

• Own end-to-end design of complex trading interfaces, including spot/derivatives trading, portfolio management, and order entry.
• Translate deep trading workflow knowledge into strategic design decisions in partnership with Product and Engineering.
• Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate design workflows, including rapid prototyping, research synthesis, and design-to-code processes.
• Ship products from problem framing and user research through high-fidelity design, developer handoff, and visual QA.
• Evolve the design system with components specifically optimized for trading data tables, charts, and real-time displays.
• Champion trader insights and competitive analysis to influence product strategy and prioritization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing complex, data-driven products, specifically within trading platforms or financial tools.
• Fluent domain expertise in trading concepts such as order types, market microstructure, liquidity, and professional trader workflows.
• Demonstrated daily use of AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Figma AI) integrated into the design practice.
• Strong portfolio showcasing shipped financial products that handle high-density data and complex workflows.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high agency and strong communication skills.
