What you will do

• Confirm claim coverage by reviewing policies and documentation.
• Conduct and coordinate investigations into loss facts and damage extent.
• Evaluate liability and damages to determine insured exposure.
• Negotiate and settle claims directly with claimants.
• Set reserves within authority and prepare detailed reports.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and potential fraud.

Requirements

• US Work Authorization required (no visa sponsorship).
• Minimum of two years of claims handling experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to obtain or hold a claims adjuster license.

Nice to have

• Advanced or technical degree.
• Industry designations such as INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, or CPCU.
• Experience as an Associate Claims Specialist.
