What you will do

• Lead the design and deployment of machine learning, forecasting, and generative AI solutions for financial planning.
• Partner with Finance leadership to translate complex business questions into rigorous data science problems.
• Build scalable data science infrastructure and systems from the ground up.
• Determine optimal modeling approaches, including traditional ML and GenAI, to solve business challenges.
• Mentor team members and elevate technical standards across forecasting and optimization work.
• Transform model outputs into actionable, executive-ready business recommendations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a data scientist with at least 5 years in time series forecasting, anomaly detection, or optimization.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with deep expertise in the data science ecosystem (PyTorch, Transformers, scikit-learn).
• Proven experience applying Generative AI to business problems, including RAG architectures and agentic workflows.
• Strong foundation in statistics, experimental design, and causal inference.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Finance or FP&A functions.
• Experience building and deploying MCPs.
