What you will do

• Price novel deals by designing premium structures from scratch for new product types, verticals, or partnerships, validating with thin data, and owning through launch.
• Transform risk monitoring into a decision engine by building tools to recommend claims initiatives, premium adjustments, and program renegotiations based on loss ratios.
• Own risk narratives and recommendations to senior leadership including C-suite when loss ratios shift.
• Build and own the data architecture for Risk Analytics using dbt and Snowflake, setting models and standards.
• Integrate AI tools like Claude to automate manual steps in risk analytics workflows and enhance team efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills in SQL, Python or R, pipeline development, data modeling (dbt, Snowflake), and visualization (Tableau, Streamlit).
• 5+ years in actuarial pricing, predictive modeling, or Risk Analytics.
• Ability to analyze data deeply and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Holistic business thinking, empathy, humility, and curiosity.

Nice to have

• Actuarial experience (e.g., ACAS or equivalent).
