TL;DR

Sales Manager (Valves): Overseeing the development and execution of sales strategies for valve products within the plumbing wholesale channel with an accent on building industry relationships and driving market growth. Focus on collaborating with agents, wholesalers, and contractors to ensure product adoption and compliance while managing sales operations and pricing initiatives.

Location: Must be based in Burlington, ON (Hybrid: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote).

Salary: $110,000–$126,000 CAD annually, plus commission.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute national and regional sales strategies for valve products.
  • Collaborate with agents, wholesalers, and contractors to drive product adoption and compliance.
  • Manage daily and long-term sales operations, including pricing, inventory planning, and proposal development.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Resolve channel conflicts and identify new business opportunities through cross-platform synergies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in plumbing wholesale or manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in business development and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including domestic and international trips.
  • Must be able to work from the Burlington, ON office two days per week.

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of the plumbing wholesale channel and contractor roles.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and compliance requirements.
