What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and maintain CNC machines according to SOP standards, including setup and tooling/functionality checks.
• Load and edit machine programs; read and interpret technical procedures for machining.
• Use measuring equipment to verify parts before and after machining and maintain quality control.
• Operate an overhead crane and complete daily safety inspections before use.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and perform duties safely as outlined in SOPs.
• Communicate and troubleshoot across shop areas as needed; cross-train on multiple equipment types.

Requirements

• Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications precisely.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical procedures.
• Ability to use measuring equipment and verify parts.
• English: speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read/understand highway signs/signals, respond to inquiries, and make report/record entries.
• Basic computer and math skills; critical thinking and safe work habits.
