What you will do

• Prepare and review reporting deliverables for debt funds and portfolio companies.
• Manage loan transactions, general ledger entries, and financial statements.
• Process capital events, including allocation files and notices for capital calls and distributions.
• Maintain accurate records in accounting systems like eFront FIA.
• Collaborate with the loan servicing group to ensure precise recording of loan activity.
• Support audit queries and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Demonstrable experience with accounting and reporting for closed-end funds such as private credit or private equity.
• Proficiency in preparing financial statements, capital event notices, and calculating carried interest.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• English: B2+ required.
• Competent computer literacy.

Nice to have

• Understanding of fund structures and loan accounting (e.g., PIK interest, cash interest).
• Experience with eFront or similar fund accounting platforms.
• Progression towards professional qualifications like CPA or MBA.
