What you will do

• Support the Sustainability Manager in implementing the sustainability strategy, focusing on ESG data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Collect, validate, monitor, and report ESG KPIs across departments to track progress against sustainability targets.
• Drive Scope 3 greenhouse gas accounting processes, including data collection and emissions calculations.
• Coordinate internal and external ESG audits and support limited assurance processes with proper documentation.
• Prepare sustainability disclosures and reporting aligned with regulatory requirements and communication materials.
• Benchmark ESG performance against peers and frameworks; analyze ESG data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (sustainability focus), Energy & Resource Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability roles (or sustainability consulting) in industrial and international business environments.
• Strong understanding of ESG reporting standards and regulations (e.g., TCFD, GRI, ESRS, GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, EU Taxonomy).
• Experience with Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions methodologies, data collection, calculations, and performance tracking (Product Carbon Footprints is an advantage).
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
