Royalty Payable Administrator

TL;DR

Royalty Payable Administrator (Finance/Music): Supporting the regional Royalty Payable team in implementing strategic distribution initiatives and managing songwriter payments with an accent on data integrity and financial operations. Focus on executing the writer paythrough project, maintaining SAP vendor databases, and ensuring accurate royalty reporting for the APAC region.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Kuala Lumpur or Taipei offices (4 days per week in-office required).

What you will do

• Support the implementation of new regional distribution workflows and payment cycles.
• Collaborate on the writer paythrough project to streamline income direction for songwriters.
• Execute meticulous pre- and post-distribution checks to ensure payment accuracy.
• Manage vendor onboarding and maintain sensitive client data in SAP.
• Resolve royalty-related inquiries from writers and publishers professionally.
• Assist writers in navigating the WCM Client Portal and earnings data.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in financial administration, data management, or music royalties.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Experience with financial or royalty databases like SAP.
• Must be able to work onsite 4 days per week in Kuala Lumpur or Taipei.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume data.
• Professional communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, or other Asian languages.
• Familiarity with APAC business environments or multi-territory operations.
