What you will do

  • Prepare and review quarterly financial statements for funds under UK GAAP, IFRS, and US/Lux GAAP.
  • Oversee the distribution of investor capital statements, capital call notices, and distribution notices.
  • Manage complex waterfall structures, carried interest calculations, and management fee computations.
  • Liaise with client auditors and tax preparers to facilitate year-end audit procedures.
  • Provide direct line management, coaching, and performance appraisal for a small team.
  • Collaborate on internal projects to improve process efficiencies and test new system functionality.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Fund Accounting or Audit, ideally within the alternative funds sector.
  • ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
  • Sound technical knowledge of UK GAAP and reporting standards for alternative funds.
  • Proven experience in leading, developing, and mentoring team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing client relationships and internal collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Private Equity specific knowledge or experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.
  • Experience with onboarding new clients or funds.
