What you will do

• Own and deliver timely month-end processes, ensuring integrity and accuracy of general ledger postings, journals, and recharges.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all balances are substantiated and compliant.
• Manage operational finance processes, including international remittances, payroll reporting, and advances.
• Support internal and external audits as well as year-end activities in collaboration with Group Finance.
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, and international bureaux managers to resolve financial issues and support global operations.
• Document accounting judgements and proactively identify opportunities to improve controls and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial operations and balance sheet control, including variance investigation.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting standards, and governance.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using professional accounting systems to analyze financial data.
• Excellent organization and communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a shared service or Finance Operations environment.
• Familiarity with SAP, QuickBooks, and/or BlackLine.
• Exposure to international finance operations and multi-currency stakeholders.
• Experience supporting year-end processes and audit cycles.
