Reporting Accountant

TL;DR

Reporting Accountant (Finance): Enhancing statutory reporting, internal controls, and financial processes within a fast-growing cybersecurity organization with an accent on IFRS/GAAP compliance and control framework optimization. Focus on preparing consolidated financial statements, strengthening documentation, and driving cross-functional process improvements.

Location: Hybrid (Must be able to work from the Cambridge or London office 2 days per week)

What you will do

• Support internal and external financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Assist in the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
• Produce statutory accounts for the group and its subsidiaries.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and reporting procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, policies, and control frameworks.
• Collaborate with the wider UK finance team on ad hoc compliance and reporting projects.

Requirements

• Must hold ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS, UK GAAP, or US GAAP.
• Experience with internal controls, financial reporting frameworks, and risk assessment.
• Proven ability in process reviews and control testing.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.
