What you will do

• Design scalable, high-availability application solutions using the Rocket Enterprise Portfolio.
• Lead technical engagements with customer business, development, and infrastructure teams.
• Conduct proof-of-concept technology analysis and pilot projects.
• Enable and align consulting partners with mainframe modernization methodologies.
• Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for successful customer engagements worldwide.
• Create technical content including blogs, whitepapers, and presentations for major conferences.

Requirements

• Advanced Technical Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4 to 10 years of experience leading mainframe and legacy modernization initiatives.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with DevOps toolchains and agile engineering practices.

Nice to have

• AWS Solution Architect Professional or Microsoft Azure Solution Architect certification.
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
• Experience with business rules extraction from COBOL/PL1.
