What you will do

  • Transform customer requirements into internal software specifications and technical breakdowns.
  • Track end-to-end progress of software requirements and defects from definition through to verification.
  • Tailor generic requirements and defect management processes to fit specific project needs.
  • Assign requirements and defects to responsible departments based on software architecture.
  • Monitor and report the progress of software implementation and error resolution.
  • Ensure strict traceability and support the overall life cycle process definition.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of work experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Proven expertise in requirements and defect management (e.g., IREB or GfSE standards).
  • Proficiency in task tracking tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, or DOORS.
  • English: Good oral and written communication skills required.
  • Location: Based in Ulm.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Automotive SPICE or CMMI quality management standards.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, Agile project execution, or speech recognition technologies.
  • Advanced skills in Python scripting, Excel macros, and Pivot tables.
  • Experience in stakeholder and supplier management.
