Location: Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Role is remote with local travel to client locations in Irvine, CA.
Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do
- Manage multi-state payroll activities including wage computations, deductions, and bonus runs.
- Administer health, welfare, and retirement plans, including annual open enrollment.
- Serve as the primary resource for clients regarding HR, payroll, and benefits compliance.
- Coordinate and manage SUI and SDI claims with state agencies.
- Audit timekeeping records and ensure compliance with state-specific wage and hour regulations.
- Prepare government reports related to EEO and AAP compliance.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa or residency sponsorship.
- 2-4+ years of experience in HR, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations (COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, ACA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to learn and manage multiple HRIS and payroll platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with ADP, BambooHR, Paylocity, or UKG.
- Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, FPC, CPP, or CEBS.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources.
