TL;DR

Payroll Administrator (Fintech): Managing end-to-end multi-state payroll processing and HR operations support with an accent on compliance, tax regulation adherence, and system implementation. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Newark, NJ (Hybrid role)

Salary: $43.00–$53.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Coordinate end-to-end processing of U.S. biweekly and monthly payrolls using ADP GlobalView.
  • Review and validate payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, leaves, and benefit deductions.
  • Research and resolve complex payroll and benefits-related issues with strong analytical judgment.
  • Partner with HR and Benefits teams to ensure accurate processing and compliance with internal policies.
  • Support payroll system implementations, process improvements, and operational enhancements.
  • Conduct peer reviews and provide guidance to team members to maintain quality standards.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the Tri-State area with ability to work in the Newark, NJ office.
  • At least 5 years of payroll processing experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a team supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll, time and attendance compliance, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in ADP payroll processing is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
