Salary: $116,000–$178,000

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 1,500+ US employees, including salaried and hourly staff.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll outputs, tax filings, and data reconciliation across multiple systems.
• Lead automation initiatives and process enhancements to streamline payroll operations and benefits administration.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and resolving complex payroll inquiries.
• Manage quarter-end and year-end reconciliations, including W-2 filings and 401k audits.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Legal, and Accounting to maintain internal controls and data integrity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience for 1,800+ employees.
• Deep expertise in multi-state US payroll, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model at one of the specified office locations (Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; or Emeryville, CA).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of equity reporting (RSU, NQ, ISO) and its impact on payroll.

Nice to have

• CPP certification or payroll accounting experience.
• Experience with UKG Pro system configuration and optimization.
• International payroll experience (Canada, EMEA, or APAC).
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls.
