What you will do

• Develop and maintain embedded software for fiber monitoring devices using C/C++ or Rust.
• Design and implement real-time data processing pipelines for sensor data.
• Contribute to overall system architecture and software design decisions.
• Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to evaluate new technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware, system, and product teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Debug and provide post-release improvements for hirify.global Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) products.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience in embedded software development using C/C++ or Rust.
• Fundamental understanding of networking systems and protocols.
• Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Must be based in or able to work from Munich, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with Embedded Linux buildsystems.
• Experience in real-time or sensor data processing.
• Exposure to telecom or network infrastructure systems.
