What you will do

• Provide disciplinary and technical leadership for an R&D team of approximately 10 employees.
• Define and execute the roadmap for migrating embedded platforms to cloud-ready infrastructure.
• Shape the software strategy for next-generation Software Defined Radios (SDR).
• Own the end-to-end architecture, implementation, and security of cross-functional Embedded Linux components.
• Collaborate with international development teams and product-specific software departments.
• Ensure platform reliability, maintainability, and long-term support for multiple product groups.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in managing and aligning cross-functional teams.
• Strong background in embedded Linux systems (e.g., Yocto, Zephyr).
• Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS or Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices such as Agile, Lean, and DevOps.
• Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany.
