What you will do

• Lead and coach multiple engineering teams, including managers, staff engineers, and senior individual contributors.
• Oversee the design and development of high-scale, high-performance distributed production systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to define and execute the technology roadmap.
• Establish and evolve engineering best practices, delivery processes, and quality standards.
• Champion privacy-by-design and security-first principles across the full stack.
• Stay hands-on in critical technical decisions to ensure system scalability and performance.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading engineering organizations in global, high-growth environments.
• Deep backend expertise in Rust and strong knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience with React/Next.js and/or Flutter.
• Proven success in designing, deploying, and scaling microservices in AWS.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and fostering inclusive teams.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with practical execution in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dart, C#, or Go.
• Expertise in decentralized identity solutions and advanced cryptography.
• Experience working across functions, locations, and time zones.
