Salary: $135,000 to $165,000

What you will do

• Manage a team of software engineers and oversee projects within the Search and Look Up department.
• Review product requirement documents and solve high-level operational or architectural issues to ensure product effectiveness.
• Implement and track development timelines; negotiate feature sets with development leads and product teams.
• Set goals, mentor ongoing projects, and provide guidance on software design and implementation.
• Review code changes and submissions; present technical and operational issues to senior management and set team priorities and deadlines.
• Coordinate recruiting, training, and new-hire onboarding for the immediate team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2 years of software engineering experience across the software development life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, Python, SQL (MS SQL Server), Perl, JavaScript, Bash/Shell scripting, and Linux/Windows.
• Experience with databases and services including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Parameter Store, Aurora & RDS, Step Functions, EventBridge, Kinesis, Firehose) and ETL pipelines.
• Remote eligibility: must be able to work remotely in the United States and not in the excluded states listed in the location section.
