Quality Inspector

TL;DR

Quality Inspector (Manufacturing): Performing inspections on purchased materials and in-process production devices to ensure compliance with quality standards and documentation procedures. Focus on maintaining MRB accuracy, initiating non-conformance reports, and utilizing ERP/QMS software to support production quality.

Location: Must be based in Shakopee, MN (Onsite)

Salary: $24/hr – $27/hr

What you will do

• Conduct visual inspections and measurements of incoming materials and in-process production devices.
• Review Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and complete detailed inspection reports.
• Utilize ERP, PLM, and QMS software to manage tasks and inventory priorities.
• Quarantine rejected parts and maintain Material Review Board (MRB) accuracy.
• Initiate and support Non-Conformance (NC) processes.
• Maintain area organization according to 5S standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn multiple software applications.
• Experience using inspection equipment such as digital calipers.
• Ability to work onsite in Shakopee, MN.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to follow safety practices and maintain productive work relationships.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree with a quality emphasis.
• Certified Quality Inspector (ASQ).
• Experience working in ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 certified facilities.
