Quality Engineer (Robotics): Supporting the optical encoder product line by ensuring product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement across mechatronic and electronic systems. Salary: $65,340–$97,700 per year

What you will do
- Represent the company in resolving customer quality issues and leading RMA investigations.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions using structured methodologies like 8D and 5 Whys.
- Perform detailed failure analysis of electronic PCBAs and assemblies.
- Define and implement sampling plans and support First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Participate in design and process risk assessments (DFMEA/PFMEA).
- Support the transfer of products from engineering to production.
Requirements
- Must be based in Bedford, MA
- 2 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and root cause analysis methods.
Nice to have
- Experience with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 quality management systems.
- Experience with CMM programming and inspection methods.
