Quality Control Inspector II (Medtech)

Location: Onsite in Wayne, NJ, US

Salary: $24 - $26 per hour (approx. $4,160 - $4,507 per month) + 10% shift differential

What you will do

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections during daily floor audits according to applicable procedures.
• Perform functional testing on IABs, APA, and Catheter extenders.
• Execute force tests (Force from retainer and Force thru Sheath) on 7Fr and 8FR products.
• Support manufacturing with rework executions and verifications for non-conforming materials.
• Document all test and inspection results following good documentation practices.
• Train new Inspectors within the Quality Control team.

Requirements

• Technical school degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production and/or quality control inspection/testing.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical inspection experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) in Wayne, NJ.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Medical Device industry.
• Working knowledge of sampling plan C=0.
• Experience with SAP.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Instron experience with Bluehill software.
