What you will do

• Serve as the single point of contact for client-facing implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
• Develop detailed project plans and select appropriate project management frameworks.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to execute deliverables and business outcomes.
• Manage project budgets and define KPIs to measure workstream progress.
• Facilitate internal and external meetings, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Refine process documentation and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Japanese and business fluency in English required.
• Minimum of 9 years of professional experience in project management and process optimization.
• University degree in Data, Business, Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, instruments, and associated metadata.
• Proven ability to navigate organizational structures of financial institutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial systems or financial domain knowledge.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, or Jira.
• Knowledge of Agile and Hybrid project approaches.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
