What you will do

• Oversee real-time and post-trade surveillance for trading in listed equities, including alert review, anomaly analysis, triage, investigations, and referrals.
• Interpret suspected market abuse and disciplinary referrals and make decisions regarding actions such as trade breaks and suspensions.
• Supervise, develop, recruit, and retain surveillance analysts, including responsibility for training and staffing matters.
• Collaborate with software developers and the Surveillance Technology group to improve quality assurance, proprietary systems, tools, and operational efficiency.
• Communicate with issuers, counsel, member firms, the SEC, FINRA, internal partners, and the public regarding hirify.global rules, policies, and procedures.
• Manage regulatory operations projects, policy initiatives, task forces, presentations, budgeting support, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, data analytics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in regulatory work, securities trading, data analytics, financial investigations, or a related area.
• Ability to work under pressure and exercise decisive judgment on significant events affecting the investing public.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, multitasking, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Philadelphia-based work location in the United States.
