What you will do

• Design and deploy an enterprise risk management framework for FS EU, including taxonomy, risk appetite, and KRIs.
• Guarantee full adherence to European regulatory frameworks such as PSD2/PSD3, DORA, NIS2, and GDPR.
• Lead the AML/CTF program, sanctions screening, and oversee KYC/KYB processes and transaction monitoring.
• Provide independent challenge on business initiatives and foster a robust risk culture using a three-lines-of-defense model.
• Leverage data analytics and AI/ML capabilities to enhance risk management and real-time fraud detection.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams and coordinate effectively between Group and local functions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, and financial crime prevention within payments, banking, or fintech.
• Proven leadership experience at a regulated financial institution (e.g., credit institution, PSP, or EMI).
• Deep knowledge of European regulatory frameworks (PSD2/PSD3, EBA, AMLD, DORA, NIS2).
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, fraud risks, and merchant acquiring operations.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Bertrange, Luxembourg (Hybrid).
