TL;DR

Sales Associate (EdTech): Supporting the sales team by building brand awareness and conducting sales meetings with school personnel with an accent on K-12 curriculum and educational technology. Focus on developing relationships with decision-makers and delivering effective product presentations to drive implementation in the Southeast region.

Location: Must reside in TN, MS, or WV. Role requires 10% travel within the territory.

Compensation: $50.00 per hour; $25.00 per hour for travel time.

What you will do

  • Build brand awareness and identify new sales opportunities within schools.
  • Conduct sales meetings and support supplemental campaigns with school site personnel.
  • Assist Account Executives with school visits and product demonstrations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key school-building decision-makers.
  • Represent the company at state and local conferences and exhibits.
  • Provide competitive feedback to Sales Leadership.

Requirements

  • Must reside in TN, MS, or WV.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of teaching or educational tech publishing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in crafting and delivering short multimedia presentations.
  • Ability to lift and carry sample materials up to 30 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the Science of Reading or Mathematical Practices.
  • K-12 educational leadership or administrative experience.
