Entry Level Associate Neurophysiologist (Medtech) (Intraoperative Neuromonitoring): Providing real-time monitoring of patients’ nervous systems during surgery and communicating critical information to surgeons and surgical staff with an accent on patient care, waveform analysis, and accurate data collection. Focus on identifying at-risk structures, troubleshooting monitoring protocols, maintaining IONM equipment, and supporting operating-room procedures.

Location: Medford, Oregon, United States; field-based role with up to 25% travel.

What you will do

  • Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgical procedures.
  • Review patient medical histories and consult surgeons on structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
  • Communicate monitoring information to surgeons and surgical staff throughout each case.
  • Display and label waveforms, calculate latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times, and troubleshoot protocols.
  • Complete IOM documentation, logs, file uploads, and equipment maintenance checks.
  • Support compliance with company policies, professional codes, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Entry-level candidates may apply; full training is provided.
  • Bachelor’s degree with typically at least two years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • CNIM certification and ongoing maintenance of CNIM status.
  • Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, human anatomy and physiology, or technical troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Effective English communication with surgeons and surgical staff, strong organization, and the ability to manage changing operating-room schedules.
  • Ability to travel regularly, maintain hospital privileges, meet physical and vaccination requirements, and hold a valid driver’s license with transportation for medical equipment.
