What you will do

• Design and deliver high-performance, low-latency Java code for core exchange components.
• Apply deep TradFi product knowledge to ensure functional correctness across Spot, Futures, and Options markets.
• Identify system bottlenecks and engineer solutions to improve throughput, latency, and reliability.
• Set technical standards for code quality, automation, and system design.
• Mentor engineers and define best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with distributed teams in Hong Kong and Singapore to align on product and engineering goals.

Requirements

• 12+ years of Java backend engineering experience with a focus on front-office execution and trading technologies.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java 17+, JVM, concurrency, and collections.
• Proven track record of architecting low-latency trading systems from the ground up.
• Strong command of data structures, algorithms, and TDD/BDD practices.
• Hands-on experience with Spring or Micronaut, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with agentic AI development, including LLM integration and SDLC automation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Background in the cryptocurrency or digital asset space.
