What you will do

• Act as the primary local representative, building relationships with municipalities, political stakeholders, and community groups.
• Design and deliver a structured community engagement program, including public meetings and briefings.
• Identify, track, and manage community concerns, enquiries, and emerging risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure community considerations are embedded in project delivery.
• Develop and communicate the local economic impact of the project, including job creation and supply chain opportunities.
• Provide briefings to senior leadership on local political and community environments.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in community engagement, public affairs, or local government.
• Strong understanding of local community decision-making structures and planning systems.
• Proven ability to build trust and credibility in complex, politically sensitive environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex projects clearly.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Ward County, Texas.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects is strongly preferred.
