AI Architect

Location: Woburn, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $130,000–$155,000 annual base salary, plus a corporate bonus

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise AI infrastructure and architecture.
• Modernize platforms for AI-enabled tools, automations, workflows, and agentic systems.
• Define patterns, standards, best practices, governance, monitoring, and cost-management approaches for AI applications.
• Design secure, scalable connections between AI systems, enterprise data, knowledge sources, and business applications.
• Evaluate AI platforms and tools based on business value, scalability, security, and risk.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance while shaping the enterprise AI roadmap.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, platform engineering, data engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with LLMOps, MLOps, platform engineering, or internal developer platforms.
• Experience designing or modernizing enterprise-scale platforms, cloud systems, data platforms, or integration architectures.
• Strong understanding of LLM platforms, RAG, data retrieval, orchestration, APIs, monitoring, governance, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
• Experience with agent frameworks, vector databases or search platforms, automation tools, enterprise integrations, and responsible AI practices.
