What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans and procedures.
• Validate functionality, performance, and scalability of web-based and data-centric applications.
• Perform integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing in distributed environments.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, and product owners to resolve issues.
• Verify data integrity and flow across large-scale analytics and ingestion pipelines.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance are mandatory.
• Minimum 14 years of total professional experience, with 5+ years specifically in software testing or QA.
• Strong experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and defect tracking tools like Jira or TestRail.
• BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience testing cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications.
• Background as a military or intelligence analyst.
