What you will do

• Develop and enhance automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Maven, Docker, and JUnit.
• Design and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with developers and VA stakeholders to identify test scenarios, debug issues, and ensure testability.
• Ensure all testing complies with VA and Federal standards, including Section 508 accessibility and cybersecurity requirements.
• Analyze test results and track defects using JIRA or DevOps Boards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of software testing experience, with at least 2+ years in test automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience with API testing, CI/CD tools, and version control (Git).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other VA-required clearance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting federal agencies like VA, DoD, or HHS.
• Familiarity with VA systems such as VESEE, VistA, Cerner/Oracle Health, or IAM.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
