Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Remote; candidates must be located anywhere in North America

Salary: $104,000–$143,000 CAD annual base salary for candidates in Canada; the same stated band is listed for the USA.

What you will do

• Develop automated and functional test scripts and tooling for functional, system, API, integration, UI, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with Platform, Product, DevOps, QA, and other teams to deploy and run automated tests in test environments through CI/CD.
• Provide timely test-result feedback to stakeholders and support defect detection and prevention.
• Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and architectural decision-making.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on professional test automation experience.
• Experience with API and UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, or JUnit.
• Fluency in at least one of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java, plus knowledge of React.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of scalable web API and backend processing system design, QA methodologies, and short release cycles.
• Experience testing edge, negative, compatibility, and concurrency cases, working with relational databases, and querying large datasets with SQL.
