Quality Assurance Routing & Switching Intern (Winter 2027) (Python)

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers to establish lab topologies for integrated end-to-end IP systems.
• Enhance existing Python automation scripts and develop new ones.
• Execute test suites for software validation.
• Identify, document, and retest software defects after fixes.
• Build practical knowledge of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in software or electrical engineering, or an equivalent program.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical circuits and/or software development concepts.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Python.
• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with telecommunications or IP networks.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills.
