What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair various types of heavy construction equipment and work tools.
• Operate equipment to diagnose performance issues and inspect for defects.
• Perform small-scale welding and fabrication tasks as required in the shop.
• Assist supervisors and team members with diverse mechanical and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Avon, MN.
• Mechanical and fabrication knowledge, typically acquired through a 2-year post-secondary degree or equivalent training/experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance procedures and tooling, including light welding.
• Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Hazmat/tanker endorsements.
