What you will do

• Monitor and control quartz processing facility operations from a central control room.
• Optimize production targets by managing plant systems, crushers, screens, and conveyors.
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for rail car loading and unloading.
• Respond to process upsets, emergencies, and system alarms to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams to ensure operational compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment status, and process parameters.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in a control room or similar operational role in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in process control systems (DCS, PLC) and HMI interfaces.
• Experience with Oracle systems.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators (requires clean-shaven face).
