What you will do

• Drive large-scale architectural initiatives, including cloud migrations and platform re-architectures.
• Define and align service, API, and platform capabilities across multiple product teams.
• Partner with SDLC and DevEx teams to optimize CI/CD, testing, and developer workflows.
• Translate complex infrastructure requirements into actionable software architecture plans.
• Provide hands-on guidance, prototyping, and support to unblock teams during major transitions.
• Communicate architectural trade-offs and drive alignment across diverse technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Strong background in building and evolving complex distributed systems at scale.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale technical changes or cloud migrations.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across multiple teams.
• Experience making pragmatic architectural trade-offs in ambiguous environments.
• Capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Experience defining internal platform standards or developer workflows.
• Background in data platforms or analytics systems.
• Familiarity with internal developer platforms (IDPs).
