What you will do
- Own the technical delivery of products into federal and national security environments from prototype to operational acceptance.
- Embed with customer teams globally to understand workflows, threat models, and operational constraints.
- Configure and tune mobile core capabilities to meet specific mission profiles.
- Provide direct technical support during live operations and conduct root-cause analyses.
- Write production-grade code to build integrations, tooling, and custom capabilities for customer deployments.
- Translate mission requirements into prioritized engineering asks and advocate for customer needs internally.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering or forward deployed engineering.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Top Secret security clearance (active TS/SCI strongly preferred).
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
- Demonstrated technical competency in coding, debugging networking issues, and systems-level tradeoffs.
- Ability to scope ambiguous problems and make sound prioritization calls without explicit instruction.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites and military installations.
Nice to have
- Prior military service or government civilian experience in communications, signals, cyber, or intelligence.
- Experience as an early engineer at a high-growth startup.
- Background in mobile networks, telecom, or networking infrastructure.
