TL;DR

Field Support Technician (Defense): Supporting internal R&D, deployed systems, and customer operations for modern defense products with an accent on fielding and troubleshooting software and hardware in operational environments. Focus on system deployment, hardware diagnosis, and ensuring mission success for military and government customers.

Location: Full-time onsite at Headquarters in Hawthorne, CA. Regular CONUS/OCONUS travel required (50%).

Salary: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate, plan, and set up internal R&D testing, customer demonstrations, and deliveries.
• Support the installation, configuration, integration, and fielding of company hardware and software systems.
• Lead basic system troubleshooting and support engineering teams in diagnosing hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Manage tactical deployments and act as a trusted technical partner for front-line military and government customers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, engineering, and program teams to ensure successful mission outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting military, government, or enterprise technology systems.
• Knowledge of radar, RF, sensors, weapons systems, or defense communications.
• Experience with tactical communications, networking, UAS, C2 systems, or AI-enabled platforms.
• Active U.S. security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Hawthorne, CA.
• Ability to travel frequently (50%) to remote and overseas areas.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Military Science.
• Military background or extensive experience working directly with military organizations.
