TL;DR

Client Information Coordinator: Managing the intake and verification of patient information for assistive communication devices with an accent on insurance eligibility, prior authorization, and documentation accuracy. Focus on coordinating funding journeys, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless case progression within a medical reimbursement framework.

Location: Must be based in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones of the US. Ability to travel to the Pittsburgh office for team activities/trainings (approx. 4 times per year) is required.

What you will do

  • Perform electronic data entry of funding documents received via fax, email, and e-Funding platforms.
  • Verify client healthcare coverage, including eligibility, benefit details, and prior authorization requirements.
  • Initiate communication with customers to provide process updates and secure necessary documentation.
  • Code client medical and speech diagnoses accurately.
  • Prepare state-specific prior authorization forms and maintain electronic records.
  • Collaborate with Funding Consultants to resolve challenges and ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zone.
  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with insurance in a medical setting.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurance regulations.
  • Understanding of HIPAA guidelines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook) and ability to manage PDF forms.
  • Excellent telephonic and virtual communication skills.
