What you will do

• Manage and support a scrum team of 4-6 software and DevOps engineers while contributing to the codebase.
• Oversee AWS-based infrastructure processing over 1 billion HTTP requests per hour.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cloud infrastructure costs and improve system performance.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery commitments.
• Drive improvements in observability, monitoring, incident response, and deployment safety.
• Collaborate on architecture, system design, and production operations to ensure scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE.
• 1+ year of experience leading engineers, managing projects, or in an engineering management role.
• Strong experience operating production systems on AWS.
• Experience with high-scale, high-availability distributed systems.
• Ability to manage technical priorities across infrastructure, operations, and product delivery.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with ad tech, real-time bidding, or DSP systems.
• Proficiency in Golang or Rust.
• Experience managing or optimizing significant cloud infrastructure spend.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and containerized workloads.
